About the artist
Bob Ritterbush, age now 74 was born and raised in southern California and has been doing artwork since age 4. In years past he has been awarded “Best of Show“ and “First Prize” at the Ventura County Government Centers art shows. In recent years Bob has been specializing in oil painting, focusing on scenes of Southern and Central California. Morro Bay, Point Lobos and Yosemite are his favorite locations to paint. Currently and past membership in the Monterey Bay and Laguna Plein Air Associations, California Art Club, SBMM and the California Art League.

Wet on wet painting in oils. Sizes from 9” x 12” to 12” x 16” and 16” x 20”. Painted on primed cotton canvas or on oil primed linen. Fine detail. Views well- close up or from a distance. Subjects of nature in Southern and Central California. Painting look better in person. Looks well in natural or artificial lighting. Best displayed in a smoke free environment to minimize staining in years to come.

Shipping based on location. Buyer pays all shipping and insurance costs.

Within the USA- West Coast- $30.00; Midwest- $35.00; East Coast - $40.00. Insurance is based on cost of items shipped..
No shipping to P.O. Boxes. Signature required on all painting over $400.00. Combined shipping discounts on two or more. All shipping is without frames unless otherwise stated. Shipping with frames at addition charge. No glass with framed oil paintings because of breakage in shipping issues.
Display locations
All artwork if located at artist location. Several paintings are entered into various art shows. Those accepted may be displayed for sale on line or in art galleries. Previous showing locations have been at the Rigdon House in Cambria, California and the County of Ventura, Government Center, California, California Art League and the Monterey Plein Air Assoc.
Pricing and Payments
Prices range from $110.00 to $850.00. Discounts on two or more. Shipping is additional. Shipping charges are based on buyers address. Paintings are subject to availability. Frame pricing is additional and can increase shipping costs. Most artwork is sold without frames.
Payments- PayPal is preferred method for payment. Please do not send any money until artwork and shipping charges are finalized. PayPal email account Is BobRitterbush@gmail.com. Buyer pays all PayPal fees (3%) Thank you.
Pricing on other works of art.
Pricing on limited edition IPad drawings are priced from $125.00 to $150.00. Most are limited editions under 30 copies. Most are sized at 8 1/2” x 11” .
IPad Pro artwork
All IPad artwork is hand done. Limited editions, generally limited to under 25. Sized generally at 8 1/2” x 11” plus matting which is optional. Most IPad work is sold from $85.00 to $125.00 plus shipping. Framing is at additional costs. Check on availability.
